Hey, I'm Nadia,

I'm glad you found your way here — it means I either done something you found interesting or you're like me (a little nosey). Either way welcome to my about me page!

So who am I?

I was born and raised in East London, England as one of four children including a twin sister. Growing up a twin in a full house, I quickly learned to stand out and do my own thing — it probably explains my curiosity and love for exploring and learning new things.

So how did we get here?

My journey into web development started pretty casually. I was never the kid that was glued to a screen, I was more of the rough and tumble, playing outside type. But this was the early 2000's and things were quite different back then. In fact, it wasn't until fairly recently (roughly just over 18 months ago) that I started playing around with some basic HTML and CSS — it very much stemmed from my exploration in UI design and collaboration with a software developer in 2023. Now, I love the intricacies of coding and the process of designing & being able to code what i've designed.

What else, you ask?

Aside from that, I'm a massive football fan (a GOONER to be specific) and I also like American football too and I support the 49ers. Music is also a big part of my life — I love hip‐hop, reggae, dancehall, soca and R&B — and love attending concerts and live events. So whether I'm coding or just chilling, chances are you'll catch me vibing to some music.

I'm also into minimalist art — there's just something about simplicity and purpose that I like so much. And in my spare time, I'm probably watching cartoons or animated movies or TV shows (I'm still a big kid at heart, and my favourite movie is Shark Tale). Travelling is also something I like to do with friends, family or solo, I love exploring new places & learning about new cultures.
